Actually, pretty much all of us know him Kemi. He's Cory - the dude who does awesome Goo covers and sounds like Jason Wade. Oh, um... *facepalm* Well, I feel like such a looser. Hey, I don't really listen to covers that often, so I have an excuse! ...right? Well, if anyone didn't know about him before, they can discover his awesome goo covers and his extremely Jason Wade-like voice. I mean, you just said " pretty much all of us" that doesn't necessarily mean " all of us". *"FAIL" is stamped onto my forehead in big, red letters* I know his name's Cory, but if I put "Cory", that would've been pretty vague, and I wasn't sure if I should put "ctrlaltrock"/"ctrl-alt-rock" since that's just his username, so to solve my problem, I put the links, because links solve all problems. (Including Link, the puzzle-solving master! Sorry, it was staring at me right in the face.)

That's okay Kemi. Yep, Corey's got really neat stuff up on his profile. Who else likes Kings of Leon? There are two songs of theirs that I really like-- Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. I think I might be starting to dig them.

SoF is interesting but I hate Use Somebody with a passion because of the vocals. They grate my ears and it doesn't help that I hear it all the time at work.

StW, you know I love SoF now... Thanks to you, um, interpretation........
And *gives US a whirl*... I like the vocals, but, then again... I like the lead of SSPU's vocals, too.... God, this guy.... His voice sounds like someone..... *this is gonna kill me* Anyway, I like this song.... Music's pretty epic. I dig.

Cool about LP.
And, yeah, I still can't think of who KoL's dude reminds me of.. He's just got this overall classic raspy, manly, throaty voice... It's rough, you know, but kickass....

Oh cool. I didn't know that about LP. I don't really follow them but I like the music (the older stuff more though). I don't think we'll get a second Goo-song from it though. Hehe. ;D

Somewhat off-topic, but GUESS WHAT! (StW, listen up...) The bassist of KoLeon thinks Robby's a slob. Hate to be a petty bitch, but, man... That really puts a damper on how much I like Sex on Fire... At least, momentarily. Article: www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/658768.html

My mix of favorite bands and artists: *Blink 182 *Five For Fighting *Maroon 5 *Kelly Clarkson *Ryan Cabrera *The Jonas Brothers(eh) *A-Teens *Backstreet Boys *Avril Lavigne *Drake Bell *Elvis Presley *The Beach Boys *The Beu Sisters My music has been almost completely renovated. New entries: - Angels & Airwaves
- Box Car Racer
- Lifehouse
- The Fray
- Gavin Rossdale
Most of the old stuff is still there except for The Jonas Brothers, and a lot of the other I listed before (BSB, A-T's, Avril, Elvis, Beach Boys, Beu Sisters) I really like, but only listen to every once in a while. Also wanted to do this just to let you guys know that I didn't ignore your suggestions. As you can see, you made a LH fan of me. However, I already knew that I didn't like Pink or MCR (sorry googal and rs_rogue), I tried Third Eye Blind and Everclear and just could not get into either of them at all, and Matchbox 20 I'm only kinda so-so about. You guys gave me a lot more than that so I still have some work to do. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. I love my new music!

I know. It's so fun when you find a new band to dig, especially if they're still around and making new records. Because I tried new bands I've got so much to look forward to CD-wise this year.
Even better is when you know the full discography of a band and find out that there's so much more to them than the singles on the radio. The example that comes to mind here is OLP for me. Their first album Naveed is so kick-ass and yet, I only used to think of them as the guys who did Somewhere Out There and Innocent (the former still an REALLY good song).
Ahem. But that's just me.

Awww, ISH, it's okay. I think it's sweet that you tried!
I love re-remembering that you really like band _____, you know. Like, I was reminded easlier today how much I really enjoy Collective Soul, for instance... Same goes for Bush, recently. Now, they're not quite favorites, but I dig 'em.
Or, just hearing some song from a band that you haven't heard in YEARS.... It feels good, man.
