So I'm writing a book and in it there is a character based on Johnny Rzeznik and I want a cool first name for him, but I can't come up with anything I really like. What do you all think? Which name, other than Johnny/John of course, do you think might fit him?

Maybe you can translate his name.. for example John in Dutch is Jan.

Yeah but what would Rzeznik mean? Then you'd have to transform it to something else first..

Then it's the other way around.. Butcher or in Dutch Slager

Well I know this isn't really changing his name or anything but I think Johnny Hollywood has a nice ring to it

Maybe you could take his middle name? Granted Theodore makes me think of the chipmunk. XD

John loves it here. He's just too shy to admit it....

Johnny Hollywood has a blue Rolex, sunglasses and muscles bulging through his too tight shirt

Maybe the fictional John could hypothetically pick an ironic last name like Hollywood because he's so conflicted by it and doesn't tell the people where he's living (assuming he made a cross-country move) so nobody knows his name. There. Now we got an interesting backstory/angle! Hehe. (lyrical puns for the win.)
