Thanks I couldn't help but wonder if the kid knew what CBGB's was or if he just bought a cool vintage tee. I almost asked him

Two instances:
One - Okay, so I'm watching this music channel where they play music, but not videos. Instead, they show who the band's influenced by, who's influenced by them, and who's similar to them. Anyway, "Santa Monica" by Everclear is on... (I'm on the 90's channel) And, sure enough... For "Similar"... GOO POPS UP!!! Yay!
Two - I basically had VH1 Classic on all day, and I saw Rzeznik's Save the Music commercial, like, 5 times today... So, VH1C is playing the hell out of it.

As I was walking into Red Lobster tonight I hear instrumental music on the loudspeakers that sounded like The Gift by A&A. I was kinda excited, it's A&A but I don't really like The Gift. Anyway, as I listen longer I can tell it's not but it still sounds so familiar. Then, right as I put my hand on the door to go inside the lyrics come on and what do I hear? "I wish everyone was loved tonight And somehow stop this endless fight Just a chance that maybe we'll find Better days"
I lol'd and turned to my mom (who only enjoys LLI Goo) with my mouth agape. It was great.

So I was walking in the mall today and Iris plays. So of course I had a stop-everything-and-just-listen moment and that was cool (ironic thing was that Colbie Caillat's Bubbly came after that). Later on, I go into a Tim Horton's and the first song that played was Slide (and I haven't heard that one for a long while)! *insert wide grin* Oh, and I was making sure that the links were working for the changes I made to their Wiki page, so I clicked on Black Balloon and found that while it worked as it should have, I ended up finding this:

I've yet to watch this movie... I have a feeling it'll be a love story that'll end sadly.... Perhaps, with an overdose.
