Here they're called "Baptism names", or whatever is the right translation. And most people have 2 besides their own name. Mine is Ronaldus (aka Ronnie) Fransicus Wilhelmus. I was named after my grandpa's, who are called Frans and Willem. My brother is named after my grandma's. huh, baptism names? What do you mean by that? Maybe that's some kind of "Brabantse" name for it. We just call it second name. My fathers middle name is Franciscus too. XD

Apperently the right translation is Christian name. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Given_name#Christian_name

I think you can have like up to 4 middle names around here, but with all the hyphenated last names that a lot of kids seem to have around here, that would be some mouthful...

My middle name is Lotte. Everyone calls me with it and people are surprised after hearing that it's actually my second name, not the first. It's part of my grandfather's mother's name who was German and it's not a common name here in Finland, I think.

Lotte is a pretty common name here too. Nice to know that. So if I ever come to The Netherlands they won't be like: "Huh?! What's your name? Can you say it again!?" ;D
