Veeeery political song to say the least but it's good. Nice line by the way.

Yes I like this line too: "So we’re living in a culture made of death and fear Doesn’t seem the human race will make it through the year"

If you're into slightly harder stuff..... I'm in heart with this Chicago/Houston band, Bad City. They're currently touring with Billy Corgan and some peeps Smashing Pumpkins...

Wow, babe. That band's actually good. Here's the new KOL single "Radioactive" from their new album "Come Around Sundown" to be released October 19. It seems everyone's going the semi-political/world peace/equality route nowadays. radioactive.kingsofleon.com/

I <3 Interpol, and so I am going to pim- promote them now...
Fourth album, self-titled, is out. Here's a single, Barricade:
I don't think it's their best album, but it's certainly not garbage.

Here's a stream of Jimmy Eat Worlds latest. www.myspace.com/jimmyeatworldI really dig a few songs, but overal it's an alright album but not the JEW I was expecting. Esther and I will be seeing them live in november btw, just before the Goo's.

same as Ronnie. I've loved JEW for years, so I had high expectations. Some of these songs are just... well, disappointing. It's not a bad album or anything, but it's not as good as I'd expected.
If you wanna hear a really good album though, listen to Anberlin's Dark is the Way, Light is a Place (it was released a few weeks ago). it's sooooooo freaking good! - yes, I'm totally biased. but even if I try to be objective, I can't help but say that this album is one of the best of 2010.

Here's another song off their debut, "Departure". It's more country-sounding, though:

If these guys toured with Augustana and/or the Avett Brothers... OH GOD. I'd be there.
