As you all know, I went to the Lifehouse concert, and I promised to make a review of it.
I went to to the station to meet up with a friend, and then we went to Amsterdam. When we arrived we took the tram to the venue, and Esther came in after a while. So we went to the Burger King to eat something (which we will NEVER do again!), and then we went to the venue to stand in line.
The waiting wasn't at bad as I thought it would be actually. It was fun.
At 7:30, the doors opened and we got in. We ran up the stairs to get a good spot, and were almost front row. But Esther her friend was still outside and couldn't get in, so Esther went downstairs again. When they arrived, the people behind us wouldn't let them through. Very very very childish people! And that's what they call grown-ups!
After a while, the support act began: Valerius!
They were pretty good actually. I only knew one song, but that was okay. I enjoyed it anyway. They played for 30 minutes I guess, and after that came: LIFEHOUSE!
First came the banner down, that they also used for the Who We Are tour, and after that a sort of circusmusic began. That was pretty funny. When that stopped, they finally started playing!
These were the songs they played: (not in the right order)
Make Me Over
Spin
Hanging By A Moment
All In
Wrecking Ball
Am I Ever Gonna Find Out
You And Me
Broken
Whatever It Takes
Take Me Away
Somebody Else's Song
Blind
Halfway Gone
First Time
Encore:
Everything
First Time was very cool, everyone jumped! And Jason shaked hands. xD (Unfortunately not with one of us)
They didn't talk very much, they only said some stuff about that is was great to be back and that kind of things...
During You And Me, a guy gave a paper to Ben, and Ben put it on the ground at Jason's feet, so when they were done playing You And Me, Jason called a guy to the stage and ssaid that he would take over for a few minutes... So that guy called his girlfriend to the stage too, and then he proposed to her! It was so cute!
The new songs were very awesome too live!
So after the show, we bought the deluxe-album and tried to get a guitar-pic, but we couldn't get one. And after a while we went outside, we got into the tram, and said goodbye when Esther got out. XD
It took some time to get home, and around 1:30 I was finally home! It was a great day!
