Has this been done yet? I figured with the film and book threads that this would fit in nicely.
Some of my favorites are:
The Sopranos CSI CSI Miami Golden Girls Grey's Anatomy Desperate Housewives Queer As Folk Gilmore Girls Are You Being Served Sex and the City Forensic Files Buffy the Vampire Slayer Star Trek: The Next Generation
I'm sure I could name more, but that's a pretty decent list.

These are some of the shows I'd find myself watching again and again, no matter how many times I've seen that episode. Most of them aren't on anymore though. Monty Python The State Get Smart Absolutely Fabulous Night Court Married with Children Sledge Hammer Fawlty Towers Daily Show Colbert Report Family Guy American Dad The Critic John Larroquette Show Miami Ink Forensic Files Myth Busters Documentaries on the History and Science channels. Hi dontneedthesame, a few more overlaps.

The X Files. All nine seasons. Best tv series EVER. Followed closely or equally by Dawson's Creek. Then Fringe and Californication (see a pattern? I like my men with double consonants ) Criminal Minds Deadliest Catch Apparitions Bone Kickers Teachers Outrageous Fortune (the NZ original not the knockoffs) History/National Geographic/Discovery documentaries, such as How the World Was Made, Storm Chasers, Treasure Quest... But for all that I actually hardly watch TV. Currently I'm only watching Criminal Minds and random doco's...oh and me and Jess might be planning an X Files summer/winter global marathon ;D edited to add: How could I have forgotten the Simpsons?!
