I'm never much into the bands personal lives, but I was wondering what relationships they all had and when. And also how it influenced them. Please correct me if I'm wrong.. this is just guessing mostly, from what I read on other forums.
- John Didn't he had a Laurie 2 times? or is that the same person? Married to Laurie, devorced between DUTG and Gutterflower Girlfriend, Adrienne Franz, an actress, around 2000 till ? Girlfriend, Melina, a fan, for the last few years.
- Robby Girlfriend (and married?) from Black Balloon, don't remember her name. What's the "real" BB story btw? Girlfriend, Myoko, for a lot of years now.
- Mike Girlfriend, Krista, and married her in 2008 or 2009.
(btw, I don't think this is an anti-personal-lives forum so I'll give it a shot, but if the admins don't agree, just delete this topic)

Robby's been married to Miyoko since August 2001. Tammy was his first wife.
There's only one Laurie as far as I know. Then Adrienne Franz til about 2005-ish? Then it's been Melina.

Yeah, I think he was with Adrienne on and off until 2005 too... I believe he knew Laurie for quite a few years before he married her and they were married for like 5 years. You can see her dancing onstage with John during Black Balloon for the VH1 BBQ event from 1998 or 1999. I heard Robby's wife was named Tammy too, and that they were only married for like one year I think. Doesn't he have a tattoo of her on his leg, or is that his gf that came after her? Once I pulled up an old cached update or post from AG that said they tied the knot in Vegas during a New Year's weekend in the late '90's. I would love to know the real BB story too...

No worries here. Just stating the facts no biggie. And that all seems right to me.

I was always kind of happy that she chose this song to dance to...It's great when the song you love is loved by many

I have no real clue but I think they seporated for a while then divorced? I have a vague memory of him saying something in an interview circa GF era that he moved to LA right around the time he got divorced. Soon after 911 happened and he reworked GF at that point. PLEASE correct me if I am wrong. I'm horrible with timelines unless they directly involve me LOL.

Uhm interesting topic. 1. I heard that Laurie was a model. And she has got Facebook account. 2. There is a site www.whodatedwho.com and there is another John's girlfriend Shaune Bagwell. I didn't hear about this date but who knows... 3. And yep, Robby married Miyoko.

I really am such a geek. I always wanna make a little chart or graph of timeline info to make sure I've got it straight. I do that with books too. I am so lame, I don't know why I'm admitting this... Wellll, Di, if you knew about what TA and I are up to with our little project, you'd think we're geekier so it's all cool.

There are quite a few songs that the Dolls have admitted to being about relationships in one interview or another...Wasn't Sympathy and It's Over about Johnny's ex-wife Laurie, and Extra Pale about the GF Robby had after his divorce?

Is any of this helpful? From things I've read/heard, John and Laurie were together for about 10 ten years including their marriage. I think he started dating Adrianne between 2000-2001 since there are pics of them from the later DUTG era. John mentioned he met Melina at a record signing, the next album was LIB, so maybe 2004 was when they met? Never sure if it was all a joke, but Mike was supposedly dating a girl from Australia from the DUTG era for a few years because Johnny made jokes about Mike wanting to date her sheep, and she was just a cover. I think Mike and Krista's wedding sites said they met in 2003, and married in 2008? From interviews Robby dated his ex-wife for years, then according to him, got engaged, married, and divorce on the ABNG tour. I think he got together with Miyoko around the DUTG era since they are pics of them from that time, too. John complained once that he wasn't invited to their wedding because they eloped. Robby said said once that Tucked Away was about Tammy. I'm not obsessed, honest! I'm just a geek, too. Who's been a long time fan, so I've collected waaaay too much info in my head.

Hey, don't sweat it Roxy. A lot of us are in the same boat. I don't like advertising that in real life just because I don't want people to think I'm weird (or weirder than they already think I am). Besides, we're not obsessed, just heavily invested in this band.

Besides, we're not obsessed, just heavily invested in this band. I prefer to think of it as well informed...We do our research and there's nothing wrong with that
