Since we're talking about the Home video, I was just curious about what your fave Goo video is and why.
My fave is Black Balloon, and not just because it's my fave Goo song...I like the story woven in (even though it's a bit random and mysterious) and the shots of the band spliced in between...It has a great slow building mood to it and the black & white is a classy touch...I also like Slide, Iris, Naked, Here is Gone and Name as videos...Dizzy is kind of fun too...
I like a bit of a story to my videos with some perfromance clips and indiviual band member shots woven in there...

I love the GF/DUTG era videos for the very reason you do Sue - concept videos where shots of the guys are playing are spliced in. I'm not quite sure what my absolute favourite is but if I had to guess, it's either Here Is Gone or Broadway.

It's the hair. And the fact that John looks like he wants to have a psychotic breakdown and murder someone.

It's the hair. And the fact that John looks like he wants to have a psychotic breakdown and murder someone. That's why I love it. Crazy John eyes. I love the Stay With You video cause visually it popped with black and white with touches of red in it. The DUTG era ones were really great. Like little Goo movies. Love the Dizzy video concept. Kind of James Bondish. Of subject, but I had a dream simliar to that video and I was trying to help John get away from these crazy girls and we were trying to hide and run and wear these crazy looking disguises. ;D The Let Love In video has a great message behind it and should have one a Grammy.

His craziness is more apparent in LE.

Hard to pick but I do like Lazy Eye and Here is Gone. I really hate performance videos I feel that they are a cop out. That said the last Goo video I really enjoyed was Better Days. The others from LLI were just boring to watch. Their best videos were back in the DUTG/Gutterflower era.

I'm going to totally let me inner Johnny fangirl speak for a second and say my favorite Goo video is Sympathy. He looks so amazing in it and some of his facial expressions are just perfectly beautiful. *swoon*
I also like Broadway because it's really kinda' hilarious!
Iris is also a top favorite of mine (that could be the Johnny fangirl still talking)

I'm just going to rank them all, and y'all can probably figure out my criteria on your own, should you be interested enough to do so... (b/c I'm lazy and don't feel like typing a whole lot right now)
1. Black Balloon 2. Dizzy 3. Naked 4. Lazy Eye 5. Broadway 6. I'm Awake Now 7. Long Way Down 8. Only One 9. There You Are 10. Stay With You 11. Flat Top 12. Here is Gone 13. Sympathy 14. Iris 15. Name 16. Slide 17. We Are the Normal 18. Before It's Too Late 19. Big Machine 20. Better Days 21. Real 22. Give a Little Bit 23. Let Love In 24. Home (as is right now)
.....On one hand, 24 seems like a lot of videos... on the other, I'm feeling like I forgot something... Hmm. Oh, well.
