OMG I can't say enough about last night. My friends and I went to see CAVO, Lifehouse and Daughtry last night at UMASS. Cavo was amazing. They only played about 25 minutes but they made them count. After their set we met them in the lobby and got them to sign their CD. They are really sweet, sincere, humble men.
Lifehouse rocked my socks as usual. They opened with "All In" Their new single. They also played "Halfway Gone", "Nerve Damage", ( which kicks ass live just like I thought it would) "Smoke and Mirrors", "Wrecking Ball" Byrce sounded amazing, "Hanging by a Moment" , and a few others that escape me now. I'm really tired today.
Daughtry I did not care for at all, I went into the show not a fan and I left the show still not a fan. He does put on a good show and he played an hour and a 1/2, I just don't care for him musically. At the end Jason came out and sang "Home" with him and he sang it better than Daughtry did LOL.

So jealous!! They were in Pikeville on the 3rd and I so wanted to go. Lifehouse even posted a tweet that they thought KY was a beautiful state with a pic of their buses. I was like awww!!!
I like a lot of Daughtry's song's though. He seems like he has some talent there for songwriting. Love his acoustic version of Poker Face. I would like to see him do a Storytellers stripped down versions of his songs. Probably would be better. ;D

I want to see them again, they are playing the next two night relatively close by but too far to make it a home and back in the same night.

Sounds good. It sucks that Lifehouse only had a 45 minute set though. That happened to me with another band and they stuck to most of their new record. As logical as it is to play a set with mostly the new record's material may be to promote it, it's disappointing to know that they can't cram more old stuff in because of that time constraint. Which is why I'm never ever going to a show where the people I came to see are only opening because that's such a bummer.
Glad to see that Cavo's band members are cool. I have the CD and it's pretty good. Cavo and Lifehouse would have made good concert.
Edit - Lol at advertisement promoting Smoke & Mirrors in this thread. Niice.
