I have a few bands on my list that I just have to see before I die, and Jimmy Eat World was one of them. I finally crossed it off the list last night. They played an (almost?) sold out house for a 1300 people audience at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. I didn't really liked the support act Minus The Bear, it wasn't very bad, but nothing special either. JEW took the stage around 9:30 I think, playing for about an hour and 45 minutes, not bad at all! They played all their hits, popular songs and a few of the new album, of which My Best Theory was received with the most enthusiasm. Personal favourites were A Praise Chorus (goosebumps for 4 minutes straight..), Let It Happen, Blister, Big Casino, the Middle and 23 (goosebumps again). They also played a song I don't know very well and turned it into a 7 or 8 minute long jam session or something.. very well done! I hope Esther knows what song I'm talking about. And a picture of Esther: www.upl.co/uploads/PB033763.jpgShe's right in the centre of the photo, behind her boyfriend ( ;D ) with the red shirt on.

Awesome, glad you had fun! But why did Esther and "her boyfriend" (XD) stand on the balcony? That's not like them.

so the guy in the red shirt is my boyfriend, Koen, who wrote the SFTROU review I posted a while back (from Inner Ear Media). I'm behind/left of him (but you can barely see me), and next to me are my friends Marjolijn and Tom. Also, to the right of Koen is Marlous, a twitter friend of ours and JEW was freaking awesome! Just like the last I saw them. Ronnie, the song you're talking about is Goodbye Sky Harbor (from the album Clarity). I hadn't listened to it much either, but it was amazing live! oh and I love that second picture you posted
