Noticed that the record company for ATYA is in2une/Warner. in2une Music is something new. Nothing earth shattering to say, just wondered if anyone else had picked up on that. Very eclectic group of clients.

I noticed that straightaway but I didn't think much of it. Guess it's prolly some kind of subdivision of Warner?

I assumed it had something to do with the song being on a soundtrack. Iris was on Reprise/WEA. But when I was just lazily trying to look up in2une, I did discover that 'All That You Are' is the first song under John's new publishing company. He had used 'Corner of Clark and Kent Music' since 1998 but ATYA is under 'John Rzeznik Music', which is a huge boring downgrade for me. (I still like Scrap Metal Music the best..)

I noticed it but thought it was the production company. Maybe it being a soundtrack song explains it.

Looks like everyone is kinda right about it, a promotion company started by a former WB VP. top40-charts.com/news.php?nid=35025Former Warner Bros. Records VP of Promotion Dale Connone launches in2une Music in collaboration with Pop2Life, a Creative Marketing & Promotion Agency launched in 2003 by another music industry vet, Eric Murphy. in2une will offer music centric promotion and marketing services, artist development, digital music marketing, and an expert field staff. Working with independent record labels, major record labels, publishing companies, or directly with management and artists, in2une's mission is to give every artist the same opportunities, benefits, and muscle. Additionally, Pop2Life's creative assets will be fully utilized to build multi-faceted, multimedia campaigns that include large scale music events, mobile marketing, and exciting consumer experiences. Look for several staff announcements over the next few months. Go to www.in2unemusic.com for more details.
'The industry is rapidly evolving and in2une will be at the forefront, creating innovative opportunities for artists that currently do not have the resources or staff to compete in today's climate,' said Connone.. 'Whether it's radio, internet, mobile, or something to come, our mission is to always be on top of every outlet and portal to get great music into the ears [and hands] of the consumer,' added Murphy.John Rzeznik Music? Yeah, bit of a come down with the clever.
