I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and a tweet today reminded me of it again: "Today in Goo Goo Dolls history", daily automatic tweets for the @googoofans twitter account.
So I want to ask, what dates should I add? So far I have:
February 23, 2000: Grammy Awards, nominated for Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocals – "Black Balloon"
February 25, 1998: Grammy Awards, three nominations for Iris, Best Record, Song and performance.
13 April 1996: Goo Goo Dolls Day in Buffalo.
26 May 1986: Band got together in 1986.
June 19, 2008: John Rzeznik was received the Hal David Starlight Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
4 July 2004: Goo Goo Dolls day in Buffalo and in 2004 they played their famous Live in Buffalo concert.

4 November 2000: Radio Music Award won for "ARTIST OF THE YEAR - POP ALTERNATIVE RADIO".
5 december 1965: John Rzeznik was born, happy birthday John!
19 December 2005: Radio Music Award won for "Artist of the Year/Adult Hit Radio".
December 19, 1999: The band survived a plane crash in Italy after performing on an Aircraft Carrier. - www.googoofans.com/index.php?page=article&id=149
December 31, 1994: Drummer George Tutuska was fired, shortly after recording A Boy Named Goo.
Any more?
