I've never written a review before! I hope I do okay
When the Goos entered (and Brad and Korel..Meh), the DJ asked John how to make good buffalo wings and said something about drying the wings or something..I'm not sure, I don't know anything about how to make them Sorry lol Then they started the performance by playing Sweetest Lie.
Then the DJ asked about what it was like to play new stuff on tour before the songs are even out on a CD and John replied that if the fans don't know the songs then they kinda tilt their heads to the side like a dog like "Huh?" ;D But John said he thought it was really cool when the fans did know the new songs and sang along because of the internet and of course, YouTube. After that question they played As I am.
The DJ thought the Goos were only out on tour for like a month so far but they corrected him and said they were on tour since like March. Then they played Home.
When Home was over John wanted to end the show with a classic and played Slide Towards the end of the song John broke a string and it kinda messed him up and he was like "Sorry 'bout that, broke a string. But it's cool."
Then they left for a different room and we got to meet and take pictures with them. I got to hug Robby and John . I shook Robby's hand and told him my name and hugged him. I put out my hand to shake John's and he just grabbed me in a hug and was like "how are ya darlin?" .
Lastly, the radio gave us signed poster. It was actually signed and not just photo copied (YAY!!). After that I left for the concert and saw the tour bus and waved and the driver honked back hehe .
The whole thing was amazinggg!! There's videos on YouTube from Mix969Phoenix if you wanna see the performances :]
