I'm finally getting a chance to tell you some highlights to a awesome crazy Goo night. yay!!
I've been excited ever since I knew I was going and the icing on the cake was that I won my first Goo m&g. Just couldn't believe my eyes when I found out. Especially since so many on the IM were going to this show. Still in shock from the whole experience.
Well to make me nervous enough on the way to the venue with 4 hours of drive time behind me and about 2 more hrs to go I stupidly locked my car alarm button at a rest area. The locksmith finally came an hour later and we got there a little after 5.
After changing at the hotel room we finally got to the venue a little after 6 and met up with Karen and Julie. There we met and talked to Hillary (IN GST leader), cruedoll, 4Rzeznik, and many great Goobers to mention them all. We waited in the lobby till around 7:40 and then they took us IMers along with radio winners down to the basement part of the venue and formed a line down this dark long hallway that someone mentioned looked like the Shining and said here's Johnny. lol.. We got into the room and formed a double line and then they asked the IMers to form a seperate line down the original hall we was at for us to go last. Which was fine with me cause we got to watch all the radio people go first and look at the Goos longer. he!! he!!
It came time for my m&g and the moment got to me and I couldn't say anything but hi and nice to meet you. I just put my arms around John and Robby and wanted to freeze time. It goes by way too fast and I hope I get another chance to get the nerve up to say somethings that I didn't. I still feel like it was a dream and it didn't really happened but I got the pic to prove it did.
The show was amazing!!
highlights:
- John missed up a little on Sweetest Lie but I loved it.
-He called out a girl for being at their shows for 110 times!! I'm jealous!!
-He also saw Julie's sign that said Chicago and NY friends together through Goo and read it. He said that's nice.
-Merry Christmas before Better Days.
-Notbroken was just beautiful played live beyond words. Still stuck in my head. You can't feel the full effect of the song till you hear it live and in person.
- John started the beginning of Broadway acapula and it kicked ass. It really added more to it that way. Brilliant!!
The concert and whole experience was great with some unexpected events and stories that I will never forget.
Can't get my m&g to pull up but here it is. (I so hate my pic.)

I would have took more pics but my friend said before the show started that security was being very strict about camaras. I took more video than pics becuase of the flash and cause I wanted more video.
