Oh my is all I can say ! Ok I can start off by saying after braving the pouring rain the day before and waiting on line since 12 for the Roseland show with all my goo-girls making it home by 12 midnight I got a ride back to Long Island thanks you Patty and setting my alarm for 6am to take the Long Island Rail Road 6:30 train and Subway back into the city to make it to the Apple SoHo store before they opened at 9am to get a wristband I wanted to be on line before the doors opened.. And I got to the store around 7:45 am and there was already a line.. My friend Patty comes around 15 minutes after I did and along comes Lisa Marie and Val from the night before ok we're all here once again... Thank goodness an employee asked us if we were waiting for the wristbands and we said YES ! He lets us inside to warm up and he hands out the bracelets earlier then the store opened.. YAY I then took the train back home made it home by 10, did stuff and then went back into Manhattan once again.. geeze alot of back and forth right? Anyway I made it back to the Apple store by 2:30 and the store was buzzzing.......no lines yet I went upstairs to see where the show was gonna take place and it was very very small and intimate there was around 6 rows of seats that were like movie theater seats and the stage was inches off the ground and away from the first row.. so it was like no stage and no room in between the row and stage.. anyway I ran into Lisa and we hung around to see what was up.. we went to the restroom and equipment was all over the place and guitars amps wires all the roadies.. was right there.. wow so small !
Ok I dressed for the cold I thought I'd have to wait outside in the 40 degree temps but no they said there was gonna be a line forming downstairs by the sign around 5ish.. I was hot.. me and Lisa went outside then back in and out around 4ish we made a line with 2 others who started it.. we took turns holding down our places.. It was time for the upstairs to be cleared out of customers and the line begins.. We were let in around 6:15 upstairs in a group of 10.....There were about 20 seats across..FRONT ROW for us !! I got inches away from John's mike stand and we all were very happy ! I thought they front rows were going to be for vip's but they gave it to the fans that were waiting.. I did notice a few seats in the second row for vip's .The concert was amazing.. sound great... I never sat though a show we all wiggled and giggled to the Goo's..I guess the ones who stood got to dance ! All I can say is thank you for this show and allowing me to be part of this.. I almost didn't wanna get out of bed in the morning to do this show..
I'll post some photos in the photo section and here in a little while..
