How could I have missed this? And I'll possibly be seeing them in November, yay! *happy dance* *********************** Gin Blossoms Return With 429 Records Debut 'NO CHOCOLATE CAKE'www.ginblossoms.net/news_story.php?id=b7b8f2507c1d45676215ff96d1d70e23SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum-selling hit-makers the Gin Blossoms have signed with 429 Records and are preparing for both the release of their highly anticipated new album, "NO CHOCOLATE CAKE" and an extensive U.S. tour. With total worldwide album sales topping 30 million units powered by their indelibly melodic, Grammy-nominated Top Ten singles, Gin Blossoms—Robin Wilson, Jesse Valenzuela, Scott Johnson and Bill Leen, are back and in peak form! The eleven new tracks were written, produced and performed by the band with the help of John Richardson (drums) and Danny Wilde on keyboards and additional production (of The Rembrandts). The first single, "Miss Disarray," will be promoted at Hot Adult Contemporary radio outlets (add date 8/2). "NO CHOCOLATE CAKE" is set for release in North America on September 28th on 429 Records.Four years after the critically acclaimed "Major Lodge Victory," Gin Blossoms have put together a seamless musical confection. Says Wilson, "There's just something about the way we play and sound together. It's those songs and the sound we make that add up to something indefinable." in case anyone is interested: Anberlins album is no longer coming out on September 21st, but now on September 7th! YAY! and here is the cover art: absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=1822482There were previews of all the songs on youtube, but I can't find them anymore, so I'm assuming they had to take 'm down. But you can take my word for it that this might really be their best album so far, like they said! it might even be better than Cities.

I know they're not exactly everyone's favorite band due to recent developments but thought I'd pass along this info: *************** Kings Of Leon to release new album in October?www.nme.com/news/kings-of-leon/52329Reports say the follow-up to 2008's 'Only By The Night' is due out on October 19 Kings Of Leon could be set to release a new album in October. According to DirectCurrentMusic.com, the group's record label RCA have issued a release schedule which states the Nashville band's fifth LP is due out on October 19. Neither the group or label have officially confirmed the date yet, although Caleb Followill and co did recently admit they would \"play the whole of our new album live if it was up to us\". As previously reported, the as-yet untitled follow-up to 2008's 'Only By The Night' will have a \"chilled out\" and \"beach-y\" feel, while the band have been showcasing a number of new songs live including 'Southbound', 'Immortals' and 'Radioactive'. Kings Of Leon will embark on a tour of the US in August and September, plus will also headline this year's V festival

Not a release date per se, but new info I know a bunch of people would be interested on. Pulled from 3 Doors Down's FB page: 3 Doors Down In The Studio
3DD entered the studio earlier this month, with producer Howard Benson, to begin recording their 5th studio album. Stay tuned to 3doorsdown.com and 3ddfanclub.net for updates as the guys create a masterpiece! Also, I've just found out that they've been playing some new tracks. Here's "On The Run" (video quality kinda blows): www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJwitfbHEckThey've played more new songs but I can't seem to find the links to them. In any case, they're gunnin' to have this out by the end of the year.
