Yay!!! Now, if I could only hear it....
I just spent a week traveling through seven states, and the only Goo song I heard was Black Balloon. While I'm not complaining, fuck, I kinda am!!!! :-(

Well, it's finally where I said it'd top off at (17). Here's hoping I was wrong and it continues to climb.

Well, it's finally where I said it'd top off at (17). Here's hoping I was wrong and it continues to climb. It should. While it's not in the 200s, it's consistently above 130 and stations are continuing to add it. The Script just jumped it so it's down to 18 right now, but other than maybe Adele's new song, I don't see it happening again in the foreseeable future. Some things are falling down and if it keeps steady like this, I can see it having a legit shot at cracking top 10.

I wish AG would run their radio request thing again.. I assume that would work too!

I wish AG would run their radio request thing again.. I assume that would work too! No no nooo. What they did for Real killed it. General rule is that if you have a lot of people pestering program directors for songs, it irritates them more than it helps. Especially when it's obvious that a fan club is behind it.

They should do it more subtile, and tell people to request once a week orso.. not flood them with requests ofc.

Any updates on how the song is doing or predictions for where it might go?
Even though I'm not around lately to listen I've requested it a number of times at my area station -- maybe half a dozen emails over the last few weeks. They are pretty goo-friendly and play GGD 3-6 times a day. They play ATYA, less so played Home (and well after it was released), never to my limited knowledge played Not Broken.
So does requesting a song actually mean something or is it like "we appreciate your feedback" code for "couldn't give a rat's ass"?
Seems like some artist's new and old music gets played endlessly (Pink and Katy Perry come to mind) and then there is another class that still feeds the demographic, gets played less but still regularly. Is it just a formula?

I haven't updated it because it's still at #18. It'll be back at #17 soon as the Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson song Don't You Wanna Stay is on the way down fast and I can see ATYA jumping it soon (like tomorrow soon) with only 20 spins difference.
Honestly, it'll be awhile before any of the songs eligible for recurrency that are above #10 will come down but with it staying as steady as it is, I can see it hitting #15 in a matter of a week or two (probably 2). Top 10? Depends on how long it stays this steady.
As far as radio goes, it's a lot of politics and the PDs have short leashes. It can't hurt to request, but I can't see it having a lot of sway.

Oh good. The appearance on Craig Ferguson should help perk things up a bit. Good on them. Also, John's tweet about it starting off by saying 'Yay!' is super adorable. And before I forget, they got 2 adds this week so that's good too.

Looks like ATYA is still hanging in there! Whatever happened to that appearance on Craig Ferguson?
